Draught Clean

Product Description

Draught Clean is a concentrated alkaline detergent formulated as the first step in a two‑part beer‑line cleaning system. When used together with Draught San, it effectively removes heavy build‑up, residue, and bacteria from all types of draught beer lines and systems. It is suitable for both commercial and domestic setups and can also be used as a soaking solution for taps and fittings. Draught Clean meets brewery approval standards and is recommended for weekly use.

Application

Hand Mixing

1. Mix 80 mL Draught Clean and 80 mL Draught San into 5 L of water, adding each product separately.
2. Pull the working solution through beer lines and soak for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
3. Flush the lines thoroughly with clean water.
4. Use test papers to confirm all chemical residue has been removed.
5. Reconnect beer and resume service.

Use With Beer‑Line Cleaning / Dosing Systems

• Follow equipment instructions.
• Ensure pick‑up tubes are undamaged, weighted correctly, and fully submerged.

Notes

• Brass fittings should not be used in draught systems as they corrode and taint beer; replace with 304/316 stainless steel.
• Recommended PPE: neoprene/butyl rubber gloves, chemical goggles, cleaning vessel, test papers.
