ARCTIC CLEAN is a specially formulated no freeze cleaning detergent designed for use in cold rooms, freezers and refrigerated environments. The food safe formulation delivers effective grease and oil cutting performance while remaining liquid at sub zero temperatures.

ARCTIC CLEAN is suitable for use across all food processing operations that utilise cold storage and freezer systems. It is also ideal for cleaning point of display freezer cabinets and retail freezer displays.

For the coldest applications, ARCTIC CLEAN is designed to be used undiluted, ensuring maximum cleaning power without freezing on contact with cold surfaces.

Application

ARCTIC CLEAN is ready to use and should not be diluted.

General Cleaning Procedure

• Remove or wipe up any large food spills to eliminate gross soiling

• Remove or protect foodstuffs in the immediate cleaning area

• Apply ARCTIC CLEAN directly to walls, shelving, floors and other surfaces

• Agitate stubborn staining with a brush if required

• Allow a contact time of ten to fifteen minutes

• Remove residue using a squeegee, sponge or mop

• Allow surfaces to air dry

• Return foodstuffs to the cleaned area

Walk In Freezer Cleaning Guide

To maintain efficiency and safety, walk in freezers should be cleaned regularly.

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including gloves and safety glasses

• Clean the freezer in manageable sections where required

• Loosen dirt and dust from fan units using a stiff bristle brush and vacuum debris

• Sweep or vacuum loose debris from the freezer floor

• Wipe walls, shelving and floors with ARCTIC CLEAN using microfiber cloths or suitable cleaning tools

• Clean door gaskets thoroughly to remove mould or mildew

• Finish by cleaning the floor area immediately outside freezer entrances

ARCTIC CLEAN melts ice build up without freezing, allowing safe and effective cleaning during normal operation.
