Product Description

S5 is a uniquely formulated alkaline, high-foaming surfactant blend designed for use in manual wash bays through high-pressure foam spray guns. It is suitable for both single-cycle and reclaim-type operations and is fully compatible with equipment used in self-service car wash facilities.

S5 is a robust alkaline foaming product developed for brushless manual vehicle washing using either hot or cold water. The combination of alkalis and solvents allows for rapid and thorough penetration of road soils, delivering effective cleaning performance when combined with water pressure. Unlike many pressure wash products, S5 does not rely solely on water pressure to achieve a high-quality clean.

Application

Initial Charging of Reclaim Systems

Calculate the total water volume in the system and charge at a rate of approximately one litre per three thousand litres of water. Adjust the injector to deliver correct dilution under normal operating conditions. Set proportioning equipment to achieve a final dilution of up to one part product to three hundred parts water.

Pressure Washing

Dilute S5 at a ratio of one part product to one hundred to two hundred and fifty parts water, depending on soil levels. Allow a maximum contact time of one to two minutes before rinsing thoroughly with high-pressure water.

High concentrations may damage paintwork and polished aluminium. Do not allow the product to dry on surfaces and always rinse thoroughly after application.
