Agi-Gel

Description

AGI-GEL is a unique gel formulation based on ‘non acid’ organic salt technology. AGI-GEL performs like a strong acid but is non-corrosive to skin and most metals. In fact, AGI-GEL is classified according to the criteria of Worksafe Australia as non-hazardous. AGI-GEL is formulated with a powerful acid inhibitor that protects materials of construction, meaning efficient concrete removal whilst safe to base metals.

AGI-GEL replaces dangerous hydrochloric and other commercial acidic formulations with a safer alternative. AGI-GEL is designed to efficiently remove concrete splash and cement dust residues from vehicles and all other surfaces commonly found in the pre-mix concrete industry, including pre-mix concrete agitators, level screeders and concrete pumps. AGI-GEL only becomes active when exposed to the target residue unlike normal acids that release all of their available activity immediately.

Application

AGI-GEL is best used neat. The normal method of application is to apply the undiluted product to the target surface using a soft broom that has been soaked in AGI-GEL. Once applied the gel product will cling to even vertical surfaces allowing excellent contact time for reaction. AGI-GEL should be left for a few minutes to do its work prior to rinsing with water. It is best not to allow the surface to dry prior to rinsing.

Although non-hazardous, it is recommended, in line with good operational procedure that gloves and eye protections are worn when product is being used. Refer to Safety data sheet for further information.
