Description

Product Description

Hookdip is a refined dewatering and rust‑inhibiting solution used as the final stage in the meat‑hook and equipment cleaning process. It removes rinse water from metal surfaces and leaves a clear, non‑fluorescent, rapidly drying protective coating. This coating helps prevent dust adhesion, contamination, rust, and corrosion under humid, high‑salt, or brine‑exposed conditions. It also eliminates the need for additional lubricants on rollers and axle pins.

Product Benefits

  • Rapidly displaces rinse water
  • Leaves a clear, durable, non‑fluorescent protective film
  • Reduces dust adhesion and contamination risk
  • Provides long‑lasting protection against moisture, salt, and humidity
  • Eliminates the need for extra lubricants on moving parts
  • Ready to use — no dilution required
  • Suitable for meat‑industry conditions and equipment

Application

  1. Clean equipment thoroughly to remove fat and rust.
  2. Rinse well to remove all chemical residues.
  3. Drain excess rinse water, then immerse items in Hookdip for at least 15 seconds.
  4. Remove and allow to drain back into the tank.
  5. Set aside to dry fully (up to 5 minutes).
  6. Do not handle equipment until completely dry.

Bath Maintenance

  • Ensure parts are fully rinsed and drained before immersion.
  • Fit tanks with a drain to remove accumulated water.
  • Cover tanks when not in use to reduce evaporation.
  • Maintain good ventilation; flash point is 46°C.
  • Replace lost product due to drag‑out or evaporation and minimise water contamination.
