Product Description

Grapple is a heavy‑duty liquid alkaline cleaner–degreaser formulated for cleaning meat hooks, rollers, slides, and gambrels in abattoirs and meat‑processing facilities. It uses a dual‑hydroxide system combined with super‑wetting agents, sequestrants, water softeners, and low‑foam surfactants. Animal fats, grease, and rust are removed effectively through a hot‑tank cleaning process.

Application

Hot‑Tank Cleaning Procedure (Hooks, Rollers, Gambrels)

1. Dilute Grapple at 1–5% (1–5 L per 100 L water).
2. Heat solution to 65–70 °C.
3. Immerse items for 5–30 minutes, depending on contamination level.
4. Perform a hot overflow rinse.
5. Optional: Apply Hookbrite if a brighter finish is desired.
6. Final: Immerse in Hookdip or Emulso Hook Oil for dewatering and protection.

Safety Note
Always add Grapple to cold water first, then heat—never add to hot water.
Avoid skin contact; wear protective clothing.
