Description

Product Description

BACCHUSAN is a powerful biocidal sanitiser formulated using tartaric acid and hydrogen peroxide in a peroxy tartaric system. This formulation provides an effective and safe method of sanitisation for the wine, brewing and beverage industries.

When diluted with water, BACCHUSAN delivers a cost effective aqueous sanitising solution capable of removing bacteria, yeasts and odours from stainless steel and other food grade equipment surfaces, including tanks and process vessels.

Developed to meet the high performance standards required where food safety is critical, BACCHUSAN delivers rapid and reliable sanitisation while remaining gentle on equipment materials.

The very low foaming nature of BACCHUSAN reduces rinse time, prevents equipment blockage and minimises pump cavitation, resulting in labour savings and improved operational efficiency.

Product Benefits

  • Powerful biocidal sanitiser for wine and brewing applications

  • Effective against bacteria, yeasts and odour causing organisms

  • Peroxy tartaric formulation provides fast sanitising action

  • Very low foaming for faster rinsing and reduced downtime

  • Reduces risk of pump cavitation and equipment blockage

  • Safe for use on stainless steel and most food grade materials

  • Cost effective sanitising solution at recommended dilutions

  • Supports high food safety and hygiene standards

Application

BACCHUSAN should be diluted with cold, clean water prior to use.

Dilution Guidelines

Dilute BACCHUSAN to between zero point seven five percent and one percent weight per volume.

Mix the solution thoroughly, then apply to tank walls, internal surfaces or equipment using suitable application methods.

Allow surfaces to drain after treatment. Rinsing may be carried out to remove loosened soils and residual material if required.

BACCHUSAN is safe for use on stainless steel and most materials of construction commonly used in food grade equipment.
