ALKASIL is a high alkalinity, low foaming liquid detergent formulated for the effective removal of protein based soils from food, dairy and beverage processing and packaging equipment, as well as surrounding work areas.

Designed to meet the strict hygiene demands of modern food manufacturing, ALKASIL utilises sodium hydroxide as its primary cleaning agent. This powerful alkalinity saponifies fats, dissolves proteins and removes carbonised and greasy soils commonly found in food processing environments.

ALKASIL effectively attacks food soils such as sugars, fats, proteins and salts, either individually or in combination, delivering fast and reliable cleaning performance across a wide range of applications.

Application

Before use, read the product label and Safety Data Sheet. Some individuals may be sensitive to ingredients in this product. Do not mix with chemicals not specified on the product label.

Do not use on aluminium or other soft metals.

Clean In Place Systems

Dilute ALKASIL at one to three percent, depending on soil load. Circulate through the system for the required cleaning cycle. Rinse thoroughly with potable water after cleaning.

General Surface Cleaning

Dilute ALKASIL at one to three percent. Apply to floors, walls and other washable surfaces. Agitate if required and rinse thoroughly with potable water.

Fitness for Purpose

A Fit for Purpose statement is available for ALKASIL when used in export meat processing facilities.
