Product Description

Friction Musk is a heavy‑duty slip‑resistant floor cleaner formulated for vinyl floors. It cleans and maintains the surface while depositing microscopic slip‑reducing particles that increase the floor’s coefficient of friction, helping reduce slip‑and‑fall risks—especially when the floor is wet. The product is compatible with all routine floor‑cleaning methods and works alongside sealing systems such as Supa Seal, Armour, and Hi‑Tech 3000.
At full strength it has a pH of 9.0 for strong grease and soil removal; once diluted and applied, it reverts to a neutral pH of 7.0, leaving no alkaline residues or slippery soap films. It is non‑dangerous, non‑hazardous, non‑flammable, biodegradable, and compliant with Australian, ISO, NZ, and ASTM standards.

Application

Mopping

1. Mix 15 mL per litre of warm water.
2. Apply with a clean mop.
3. Replace solution and rinse mop head when dirty.
4. Dry‑mop to remove excess liquid.
5. Allow to dry and buff with a white pad (use red occasionally).

Automatic Scrubbing Machines

1. Mix 12 mL per litre of warm water in the solution tank.
2. Use the lightest pad and lowest pad pressure suitable for the job.
3. Ensure adequate solution flow to prevent streaking.
4. Spot‑clean heavily soiled areas if needed.
5. Allow to dry and buff with a white pad (use red occasionally).

Trigger Spraying / Spray Buffing

1. Mix 1 part Friction Musk to 10 parts cold water.
2. Apply to a clean floor using standard spray procedures.
3. If buffing, allow the machine to dry and polish in one pass.
4. Avoid excessive solution or moving too quickly, as haze or streaks may occur.
