Methylated Spirits is a denatured form of ethyl alcohol containing additives that make it unsuitable for consumption. It is a volatile, flammable solvent commonly used for streak‑free cleaning of glass and chrome. As an alcohol‑based cleaner, it also provides sanitising action when adequate contact time is allowed.

Application

• Add a small amount to washing‑up water to clean dishes, cutlery, and glassware without smears.
• Wipe over fridges, ovens, appliances, stainless‑steel kettles, and similar surfaces.
• Cutlery cleaning & sanitising: Dilute 1:1 to 1:5, immerse for 60 seconds, then air‑dry or wipe with a clean paper towel.
• Glass & chrome cleaning: Dilute 1:1 to 1:10; use a clean cloth or paper towel for a streak‑free finish.
