CASTLE 873 is a high‑solids, food‑grade shellac wax formulated as a post‑harvest citrus coating. It helps control moisture loss and provides a long‑lasting shine. The coating also improves resistance to chalking and whitening during long‑term or overseas storage, making it suitable for all export markets.

Application

CASTLE 873 is best applied using a Micron 2000 applicator.
Fruit must be completely dry before entering the waxing section.
Use 50/50 horsehair/poly brushes for optimal finish.
Clean fruit thoroughly before waxing to maximise gloss quality.
Apply at a rate of 1 to 1.5 L per tonne of fruit.
