Castle Green-Pro D-LIME is part of the advanced Green Pro range developed by Castle Chemicals. It is a non-acidic, non-hazardous kitchen descaler formulated from organic surfactants and a low-hazard salt of an inorganic acid.
D-LIME is a clear, light green liquid with a fresh lime fragrance. It is an economical, bio-based, and environmentally responsible alternative to aggressive acidic kitchen cleaning products. The formulation is specifically designed for use in commercial kitchen environments to remove lime scale deposits and food soils.

Food Safety Compliance:
The raw materials and ingredients in this product are permitted as processing aids under Clause 12 of the Food Standards Code 1.3.3 (Food Standards Australia New Zealand), or are Generally Regarded As Safe according to the United States Food and Drug Administration, or are recognised under the United States Code of Federal Regulations Title 21 Part 178 as indirect food additives.
When used according to the directions provided, this product complies with recognised food safety standards.
Shelf Life:
D-LIME has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture as indicated on the product label.
Application:
Dishmachine Deliming
Frequency: Weekly or as required
Estimated Time: Approximately 20 minutes

Turn off the detergent dispenser and sanitiser injector according to equipment instructions.

Drain the dishmachine completely and close the drain valve.
-
Remove detergent from the dispenser.
-
Remove loose deposits and soil from scrap trays.
-
Fill tanks to approximately 8 centimetres below the overflow and close the fill valve.

Add D-LIME to the water at a dilution ratio of 50:1 (water to D-LIME).
-
Run the dishmachine on a normal hot cycle for approximately 15 minutes. Extend the time if heavy scale is present.

Turn off the machine and drain completely.

Refill with fresh water and run for 5 minutes.
-
Drain and repeat the rinse cycle twice to ensure complete removal of the descaler.

Return detergent to the dispenser and restart normal operation.
Coffee Urns and Kettles

Dilute at 100:1 (10 millilitres per 1 litre of hot water).
-
Allow solution to stand for 15 to 20 minutes.
-
Drain and rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
-
Heavily scaled items may require stronger concentrations, extended contact time, or multiple applications.
General Kitchen Surfaces and Equipment

Apply diluted solution as required.

Rinse thoroughly after cleaning.
Safety Precautions:
Although D-LIME is non-hazardous, standard workplace health and safety precautions should be followed.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
-
Wear protective gloves, goggles, and apron during deliming.

If splashed, remove contaminated clothing and rinse affected area thoroughly with water.

If swallowed, give milk or water. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice immediately or contact the Poisons Information Centre.

Do not mix with bleach or other chlorinated products, as this may produce chlorine gas.

Do not use on nickel or marble surfaces.
-
