Draught Duel

Product Description

Draught Duel is a biodegradable alkaline beer‑line cleaner designed for chilled draught systems. It contains a red, non‑staining tracer dye that makes it easy to see when the cleaning solution has filled the lines. The formula removes beer stone, yeast deposits, and heavy build‑up and is suitable for both commercial and domestic draught systems, as well as for soaking taps and fittings. It meets brewery approval standards and is formulated for effective routine cleaning.

Application

Hand Mixing

1. Mix 60 mL of Draught Duel with 5 L of water.
2. Pull the working solution through beer lines and soak for at least 1 hour or overnight.
3. Flush thoroughly with clean water until the red dye is no longer visible.
4. Use test papers to confirm all chemical residue is removed.
5. Reconnect beer and resume service.

Use with Beer‑Line Cleaning / Dosing Systems

• Follow manufacturer or system‑specific instructions.
• Ensure pick‑up tubes are intact, weighted, and fully submerged in the drum.

Notes

• Brass fittings must not be used, as they corrode and taint beer—replace with 304/316 stainless steel.
• Recommended PPE: neoprene or butyl‑rubber gloves, chemical goggles, cleaning vessel, and test papers.
