Product Description

Descale P is a concentrated solvent–acid cleaner formulated for the removal of rust and scale from ferrous metals while preparing surfaces for improved paint adhesion. It also functions as a general‑purpose acid cleaner suitable for industrial, commercial, and kitchen descaling, as well as for cleaning fibreglass and gel‑coat surfaces in marine applications. It contains phosphoric acid, is slightly viscous, fully miscible with water, non‑flammable, has unlimited shelf life, and does not lose strength when exposed to air.

Application

General Use / Rust Removal

• Suitable for immersion or wipe‑on / wipe‑off application
• Apply neat or dilute up to 20:1 with water
• Allow adequate contact time, then rinse or brush clean with fresh water
• For paint preparation, use after mechanical rust removal to improve surface bonding and corrosion resistance

Fibreglass / Gel‑Coat Cleaning

• Safe for marine surfaces; always test a small area first
• Removes rust stains, waterline marks, and salt deposits

Because Descale P is a strong cleaner, it may leave surfaces very clean but more prone to re‑staining; applying a sealing polish after cleaning is recommended.
