It is designed to meet markets requiring a morpholine‑free product while providing a strong natural gloss suitable for both export and domestic shipments. The coating helps reduce pitting caused by low oxygen levels, minimises off‑flavours during anaerobic respiration, and reduces whitening compared to high‑gloss formulations. It can also assist green fruit to colour up, depending on maturity and shipping duration.
