Product Description:

Proclean Hypo 13 is a 12.5 percent commercial grade sodium hypochlorite presented as a greenish‑yellow liquid with a strong chlorine odour. It is a strong bleach and an effective disinfectant that kills bacteria, fungi and viruses. It is also used as a destainer for crockery and melamine ware.

Application:

1. Keep windows open when diluting or using bleach to ensure good ventilation.
2. Wear protective gear when diluting or using bleach.
3. Use cold water for dilution, as hot water decomposes the active ingredient and reduces effectiveness.
4. Dilute according to use:
   • Mix 1.5 ml of product with 1 litre of water for destaining crockery and melamine ware.
   • Mix 0.5 ml of product with 1 litre of water for general sanitising.
   • Mix 2 ml of product with 1 litre of water to disinfect hard surfaces contaminated with vomit, excreta, secretions or blood. Allow 10 minutes of contact time.
5. Rinse disinfected items with water and wipe dry.
6. Soak cleaning tools in a solution made by mixing 0.7 ml of product with 1 litre of water for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly before reuse.
7. Wash hands with Soft Pod Gratis Foaming Sanitiser Liquid Soap and dry with a clean or disposable towel.
