LAB 495 is a powdered heavy‑duty alkaline spray‑wash tank cleaner formulated for both ferrous and non‑ferrous metals. It is a free‑flowing light‑brown powder with dust‑ and caking‑suppression additives. Designed for the metal‑working and automotive industries, it offers strong cleaning performance and excellent rinseability, making it ideal for use before phosphating by preventing alkaline carry‑over. The product contains no free caustic, making it safe for cleaning aluminium, magnesium, galvanised steel, and other metals. LAB 495 is a quick‑break detergent and biodegradable.

Application
- Add 10–28 g per litre of warm circulating water.
- Heat the solution to 71–82 °C.
